UC Hastings enjoys formal exchange relationships with law schools in Argentina, Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Spain, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. 2L or 3L students can earn up to 12 credits toward graduation while immersing themselves in a new legal culture.
The purpose of the Study Abroad Program is to provide UC Hastings students with the chance to gain first-hand knowledge of another legal system as well as an extensive network of contacts around the world. The value of these cannot be overstated in our interconnected world. With the practice of law becoming increasingly international, students who study abroad gain valuable skills that make them better lawyers and global citizens.*
On January 1, 2016 UC Hastings entered into an exchange agreement with the National University of Taiwan. Students interested should speak directly with Professor Keith Hand, Director of the East Asian Studies Program at email@example.com. If you wish to apply to this program please indicate that on your application.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
