Read the step-by-step directions on how to print confidential material through the network to the Xerox copiers/printers. Printing does not start until you are at the printer and have entered your passcode.
Students will find Xerox multi-function printers (MFPs) throughout the Library, in the Gold Reading Room, in the 198 McAllister basement and in the McAllister Tower lobby.
Before you begin, you must have funds available on your copy/print Account Balance in order to copy or print on the Xerox machines. You can add money to your account in two ways:
1. To add funds to your PCounter account online go to : https://uchastings.PCounterwebpay.com
PCounter Web is a free, convenient and secure service. There is no fee to add funds online to your PCounter web account. Get $3 free on your PCounter web account!. For a limited time, the "3 for Free" promotion, add a minimum $20 in one transaction on PCounter web and Hastings will add another $3. For example, if you add $20 to your PCounter web account you'll get the $20, and $3 will be added in the next 1-2 business days. (Adding $10 in two separate transactions does not qualify for receiving the additional $3).
2. Visit the Business Center on the 1st floor of Kane Hall (200 McAllister building). For Business Center hours, please visit the Business Center website. When you add funds (of any amount) to your account from the Business Center there is a $1 transaction fee. You can deposit funds using cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express in the Business Center. Adding funds in the Business Center does not quality for the free $3. That's for Online only, with a minimum add of $20.
You can print documents from your laptop or home computer to any of the MFPs throughout the Library or in other locations in the College by following these instructions:
Students can also use the Business Center for their printing and copying needs. The Business Center is located on the 1st floor of 200 McAlllister, near the Bookstore. Hours are posted on the Business Center website.
