UC Hastings enjoys formal exchange relationships with law schools in Argentina, Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. 2L or 3L students can earn up to 12 credits toward graduation while immersing themselves in a new legal culture.
The purpose of the Study Abroad Program is to provide UC Hastings students with the chance to gain first-hand knowledge of another legal system as well as an extensive network of contacts around the world. The value of these cannot be overstated in our interconnected world. With the practice of law becoming increasingly international, students who study abroad gain valuable skills that make them better lawyers and global citizens.*
