Faculty can request from IT Helpdesk a new instructor kit with a receiver.
To use ResponseWare, please follow these short steps:
Go to https://account.turningtechnologies.com/account/ and create an instructor account using your UC Hastings e-mail address where it says "Sign Up". Upon entering all information to create an account, you will be returned to this page where you can then sign in.
Upon signing in, you will be taken to the software page, where you can select the version of TurningPoint Cloud that you would like to install (PC - Install, PC - No Install, which can be extracted to a folder and run without requiring administrator rights, and Mac - No Install). It is already installed on all Classroom computers.
Launch TurningPoint Cloud once it is installed. Then follow these instructions for importing your participant list from Blackboard. In step 5 of these instructions it says to input a server address. The server address is https://uchastings.blackboard.com . You must use your Hastings username and password here (username without @uchastings.edu).

It will help you to become familiar with all of the basic functions of TurningPoint and its associated use with ResponseWare for both Mac and Windows. There have been a lot of additional features added in the latest version for which this guide will be most helpful in getting started.
