Adjunct Professor Gary Lewis is the executive director of the General Assistance Advocacy Project. Professor Lewis’ work covers a range of issues, including housing, welfare, healthcare and criminal justice. While providing some direct services, Professor Lewis’ primary interest is in the field policy and program development.
Professor Lewis received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a B.Sc. from the University of Leeds in the U.K. In his spare time, Professor Lewis enjoys cooking, camping, playing softball, and very amateurish tailoring.
