Mei Cooley is the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for the Graduate Division. She also advises international scholars and students on visa regulations and she is available to help international scholars and students getting adjusted to the life in the United States. Prior to joining UC Hastings, Mei worked at a private ESL school as an international student advisor and an admissions administrator. Mei received her B.A. in Anthropology and Educational Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. Mei has lived in East Asia and South East Asia before coming to the United States, and she has also spent time volunteering in Central America.
