          “My UC Hastings Story” Student/Alumni Video Contest Returns!

          UC Hastings College of the Law is a law school like no other. Innovative. Experiential. Multidisciplinary. International. In the heart of San Francisco, just footsteps from the courts. But what really makes UC Hastings stand out is... YOU, our students and alumni! 

          Creative Brief:

          “My UC Hastings Story” -- Your challenge is to create a short video telling the world your “UC Hastings Story” with regards to one of the following ways in which UC Hastings is positively unique: 

          • Location
          • Student Life 
          • Academics 
          • International 

          ***We encourage your creative interpretation of these themes.*** 


          You may submit your entry anytime before midnight on May 31, 2013. See instructions for submitting below. 


          Open to any current UC Hastings students and Alumni. 


          • 1st Prize: Winning videos in each of the four categories above will receive $750 each.
          • Runners-up for each category will also get $250 each.


          All entries will be reviewed by a 7-person panel of judges including members of the UC Hastings faculty, staff, alumni, and student body. Scoring will be based on the following basic criteria:   

          1. 40% engaging storytelling
          2. 40% alignment with creative brief
          3. 10% originality
          4. 10% production quality

          How to submit: 

          Create your video and post it to YouTube. Entitle it “My UC Hastings Story.” Send the link to shapiroa@uchastings.edu.  


          All submissions may be used by UC Hastings for promotional purposes.
