          Price Transparency Research Cited in Report to Senate Budget Committee

          Healthcare Expenditures

          A white paper on Price Transparency in the Healthcare Market produced by the UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy has been cited in a Brookings Institute testimony to the U.S. Senate Budget Committee. The report, regarding "Containing Health Care Costs: Recent Progress and Remaining Challenges", was presented by Kavita Patel, the Managing Director for Clinical Transformation and Delivery at Brookings' Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform.
