          JohnMichael O'Connor '72 Appointed to Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury

          Alumnus caps long litigation career with a year of public service.

          JohnMichael O'Connor '72 has been appointed to the 2013-2014 Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury.

          "After forty years of civil litigation, it's time to step back, serve as an ADR neutral, and do a little public service," O'Connor said.

          O'Connor, of San Jose, has been a trial attorney and civil litigator since 1973, a Judge Pro Tempore since 1977, a judicial arbitrator and fee arbitrator since each program began in Santa Clara County, and a private mediator and arbitrator.
