Business Insider recently asked more than 400 American legal professionals to select the 10 law schools that would best serve a legal career.

The results of its survey have been published as a list of The 50 Best Law Schools In America, and UC Hastings College of the Law is ranked #21 (up from #28 last year).

“Even though the outlook on the legal job market still isn't too bright,” writes Business Insider, “picking the right law school will exponentially increase the likelihood of success after graduation.”

"Our number one goal at UC Hastings is to Create Outstanding Professionals to Solve 21st Century Problems,” says Chancellor & Dean Frank H. Wu. “While I have in the past pointed out the perils of ranking, it is good to see that our reputation among legal professionals is high."

"In a competitive marketplace, the reputation of a UC Hastings education remains justifiably high," says Sari Zimmerman, Assistant Dean, Office of Career & Professional Development. "UC Hastings students know how to get the job done and compete with the best."
