UC Hastings is an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school and is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). For contact information, please view Accreditation.
WSCUC stands for the WASC Senior College and University Commission. It was previously referred to as "WASC." It is one of six regional accrediting agencies recognized by the US Department of Education that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities. WASC accredits institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, and the Pacific Basin.
All of the UC campuses are accredited by WSCUC, as are private schools such as Stanford and USC.
