Robert Terris is a licensed attorney and therapist, who has been practicing understanding-based mediation for over ten years in a variety of family and legal settings. Robert chairs the Alameda County Bar Association’s ADR section, is a member of both the First and Third Court of Appeals mediation panels, and is president of the Collaborative Practitioners of East Bay‘s steering committee. Robert also consults with Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, where he advises various departments on improving communication and facilitating constructive, organizational change. Robert has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute, an M.S. in Peace and Conflict Studies from Gothenburg University, and a J.D. from Berkeley Law (University of California).
