June Kitagawa Sakamoto is the Assistant Dean of the Graduate Division at UC Hastings College of the Law. Before joining UC Hastings, June lived in Tokyo for almost 10 years and was the Director of the Tokyo Campus of Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she oversaw the LLM, Certificate, and JD Exchange programs. Prior to that, she was an attorney in the Los Angeles and Tokyo offices of the New York-based law firm, Milbank, where she focused on general corporate and finance law. June earned her JD from the Georgetown University Law Center and her BA from the University of California at Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She is a native of San Francisco and attended San Francisco University High School and Katherine Delmar Burke School. June enjoys traveling, dining with friends, and spending time in beautiful San Francisco with her husband and two sons.
