Law Firm Challenge

As a member of the 1066 Foundation Board of Trustees, I am honored to chair the 2009-2010 Law Firm Challenge campaign. The campaign is a giving program designed to encourage alumni at law firms and organizations to reconnect with their alma mater and promote giving in a fun and challenging way. Firms and organizations with five or more Hastings graduates are encouraged to participate. Within each law firm, volunteer representatives take the lead in inspiring their Hastings colleagues to join together and meet the 100% giving challenge.

By participating in the Challenge, graduates help Hastings raise essential funds, increase overall alumni giving participation, strengthen the Hastings alumni network and enhance the profile of the graduate’s own law firm and organization.

Alumni benefit by reconnecting with UC Hastings and each other in a positive way - working as a team to support our alma mater, and through that, rekindling fond memories of our law school days. Plus, it’s a wonderful way to build camaraderie with fellow alumni at your firm.  

This year, we already have 25 organizations and 29 volunteer representatives prepared to meet the Challenge.  Together, we can set the standard and make a real difference for our law school.
