Shannon Fallon has served on the UC Hastings College of the Law, Foundation Board of Trustees since 2010. She is a community volunteer and has been involved in a variety of organizations primarily focused on education for the underprivileged. These include St. Elizabeth Seton School, Santisimo Sacramento Mission in Piura Peru, and Bring Me a Book. Additionally, she has served on the Parent Board and in the classroom at Sacred Heart Schools and has coordinated several outreach and community service programs. She is also active in the National Charity League and has provided pro bono legal work and counseling for the San Mateo Legal Aid Society.
In 1985, Ms. Fallon earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Following that, she worked at Arthur Anderson in San Francisco and became a Certified Public Accountant. She received her law degree in 1990 from UC Hastings College of the Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Thurston Society. Thereafter, she practiced business litigation and bankruptcy law representing financial institutions. She and her husband Tom reside in Atherton and have 4 children.
