Gail Flesher is a senior counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, a law firm based in New York City. She previously served as a partner from 1996-2010, hiring partner from 1997-2006, and associate from 1988-1996. She was a member of the Corporate Department and head of the Environmental Practice Group until retirement in 2010. She represented U.S. and international companies, boards of directors, financial institutions, private equity firms and venture capital groups on environmental matters in the context of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate investments, bankruptcies and restructurings and securities offerings.
She is currently serving on the UC Hastings Foundation Board of Trustees and served in leadership positions as the Secretary from 2008-2009 and first Vice President from 2009 to 2012. Since 2008 she has served on the Softball Board of the University of Pennsylvania (since 2009 as co-chair). Previously she served on the NALP Foundation Board of Trustees from 1998-2003 (as chair from 2000-2002).

Ms. Flesher received her Bachelor of Science degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1983. She is a 1988 graduate of UC Hastings College of the Law and was a member of the Hastings Law Journal. She is admitted to the bars of New York and Connecticut.
