The Student Handbook (“Handbook”) is intended to serve two main purposes:
(1) it is a great place to start when you have questions about the law school, and
(2) it includes the Academic Regulations and other rules applicable to all students.
Accordingly, all students are responsible for reading the Student Handbook in order to familiarize themselves with UC Hastings Academic Regulations and other policies. Policies change from year to year, so returning students should read the Student Handbook at the start of each new academic year.
Ignorance of the rules and policies contained within the Student Handbook is no excuse, and all students are held responsible for complying with UC Hastings rules and policies.
If you have any questions, please contact Student Services at email@example.com.
*Disclaimer* (hey, we are a law school): Because UC Hastings is such a dynamic community some of the information published in the hard copy version of the Handbook is likely to become outdated the second it goes to print. However, we are committed to keeping you informed! Please check the online version of the Handbook available here for updates.
